All the accolades go to the staff. The hotel boasts a charming appeal, with rooms that exude a modern, European elegance. The beds stand out for their exceptional comfort. On the downside, the restaurant's offerings did not live up to the expectations set by their prices. The breakfast provided was typical for European hotels of this caliber, nothing out of the ordinary. The hotel's location is quite advantageous, nestled close to the heart of the historic center; it’s a stone's throw away from an array of restaurants, shops, and the iconic Zocalo. One should note, however, that securing a taxi directly outside the hotel can be challenging on weekends due to the street being reserved for pedestrian use only.

EXCELLENT breakfast -- a very large and varied buffet with omelet station, all of the best quality, AND it was open until 11:00 a.m. every morning. No shutting down at 9 or 10:00 a.m. The staff kept everything clean during breakfast and they were friendly and helpful. The entire hotel staff was pleasant, smiling, and helpful. The facility -- room and amenities -- were first rate, but without a welcoming staff, a hotel is just a place to sleep. Also, it was June, gay pride month, and Mexico City showed its support by flying the rainbow flag on public buildings. And the NH had the rainbow flags at reception and at the bar.

First, I was thankful that kept my reservation there is some problem with my credit card. The hotel location is also good and quite secure, a few meters away from Zocalo. There are a lot of police, in fact, they park their bus in front of the hotel. The hotel is also quiet because it’s located on not-so busy street. The room is small but provides sufficient amenities. I particularly liked the black-out curtains. The breakfast offers a lot of variety and is open until 12pm. I stayed their for 8N and there’s always something new in their menu. Overall, I was happy with my stay at this hotel.

Arianne

The location was excellent. The hotel was situated one and a half blocks from the Zocalo plaza and main tourist attractions. Customer service was excellent. I liked the coffee machine, safety deposit box and fridge in the room. Buffet breakfast was good, offering egg options cooked at the moment, fruits, lunch meats, toasts, cereals and juices. I had a few dinner meals and they were all excellent.

Yolanda

Standard business rooms: you know what you get 24/7 reception and room service Relatively quiet street very close to the zocalo Lovely breakfast buffet with variation Free bikes available (Eur 300 deposit required) (Note Mexico City organizes "Muevete en Bici", open streets program, every Sunday, car traffic is banned along seven city streets)
